"Knowing others is intelligence; knowing yourself is true wisdom.
Mastering others is strength, mastering yourself is true power."
—Lao Tzu

Our lives have a myriad of challenges- COVID 19 was one no one saw coming. But even when there is not a global pandemic there can be a mix of family, financial challenges, changes in the workplace, professional expectations or personal phobias.

We all deal with adversity differently.

There is no simple fix or one size fits all method. Discover simple yet effective research-based strategies and techniques that utilize our attitude, allow us to develop and build resilience.

For many of us, it is all too easy to stop, stagnate, avoid, procrastinate or find ourselves repeating behaviors rather than just dealing with things and then putting it behind us. When we encounter difficult situations, taking appropriate action allows us to keep moving forward. Through building resilience, we can accept, thrive and prosper with whatever situation we encounter.

Career and life resilience provide all of us an opportunity to go beyond our limits. Using your resilience effectively and fully offers a practical framework for producing ways to swerve around life and career sandbars.

This workshop will support:

- Discover the neuroscience of why our emotions impact our thinking and common thinking traps.
- Self-edit habitual emotional vocabulary and create awareness of the importance of growing our emotional vocabulary
- Build strategies to support holistic resilience in four key domains: Body, Brain, Environment and Heart domains
- Strengths-based resilience
- Think like a scientist; discover tips to support the perfectionist

“Ability is what you are capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.” Lou Holtz
